April 2, 2026 at 5:55am, I received the call that my mother had suffered a massive stroke. She was flown to Stanford for emergency surgery, but unfortunately, the doctors had to stop halfway through. On April 7, 2026 at 6:55pm, she said goodbye. My mother was the sweetest, most heartfelt person, and she lived a life full of beautiful memories with all of us. This loss came very suddenly and unexpectedly, as she had so much life left to live.

My mother was a source of unconditional love. Her kindness and wisdom shaped who I am today. She always put others first, and her strength and grace will never be forgotten. As I close my eyes, I imagine her walking with Richie once more—together, whole again, shining in a place where no pain touches them, and I can feel her love surrounding us all.

In her memory, we’re raising funds to create a special celebration of life, a gathering where we can remember her kindness and love. Any contribution, big or small, will help us give her the beautiful tribute she deserves. Thank you all for the prayers and kind words, my family and I appreciate every one of you.

John 16:22 says: "Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy."
