Our beloved Grandpa and Father, Robert Bergstrom, known to so many as "Mr. B" or "Bergey," recently passed away. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply, countless friends, and generations of students whose lives were forever changed by his kindness, patience, and unwavering belief in them.

If you knew Mr. B, you knew that teaching wasn't just his career, it was his calling. He had a gift for making every student feel seen, capable, and important. One of the experiences he cherished most was traveling with students to Washington, D.C., where they could learn and create memories that would last a lifetime.

We have created this GoFundMe for two purposes. First, donations will help our family cover the costs associated with organizing and hosting his celebration of life. The celebration of life is being held on July 28th, 2026 from 5:00-9:00PM at the Kellerman's in downtown White Bear Lake, MN.

More importantly, any remaining funds will go toward establishing the Mr. B Scholarship, which will help students afford the annual Washington, D.C. trip that meant so much to him.

Our hope is that this scholarship will allow future generations of students to experience the same opportunity he worked so hard to provide, ensuring that his passion for education and his belief in young people continue to make a difference.

Whether you are able to donate or simply share this fundraiser, your support means the world to our family. Thank you for helping us celebrate an amazingly wonderful man whose legacy will forever live on and continue through the lives of the students he inspired.

With love and gratitude,

The Bergstrom and Kope Family
