Celebrating Millie
Millie Giallombardo
We started this fundraiser to honor a mother, daughter, sister, fiancé, and friend.
On February 6th 2021, Millie lost her life in a motorcycle accident. She was survived by her fiancéand her 14yr old son.
Millie gave so much to others in her life, that we wanted to repay all the kindness, encouraging talks, the hugs, the passion, and the stickers for every occasion, with a monetary gift that we hope will help to ease her family’s burden.
Liz, Millie’s supervisor, shared her letter to Millie, which perfectly sums up how Millie has touched our lives:
“There are no words to express the sadness I feel. There is nothing that will take away the pain that my heart feels.
Your goal was always to inspire, motivate, support, and give people strength during the hardest of times. Those times when we needed to believe in ourselves, you were always in our corner. Your smile alone made everyday better. Your kindness and generosity extended to every person you met. Your bubbly spirit, go-getter attitude, and optimism paved the way for so many. You were a mentor, a friend, and a truly amazing person. My world will never be the same.
Look over us my Angel. Continue to guide us with your strength, endurance, and passion for life. Rest In Peace knowing that even though your passing, you continue to achieve your mission of inspiring and motivating others to be the best that can, for themselves and others.
Fly high my love. May you sing and dance among the angels, always rocking to your own tune. You’ll forever and always be my Millie Rock. Thank you for accepting us as part of your family, as you’ll always be engrained in ours. I love you and miss you, so much. #MillieStrong”
Help us contribute to Millie’s legacy. All donations go directly to the family.
As Maya Angelou so beautifully said:
"I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how they made you feel."
Thank you, Millie, for sharing your light with each of us #MillieStrong
