I want to first thank everyone who came to Michaels Memorial Service

He would of loved that he affected everyone that was in his life. And the ones who took the time to watch the Live Stream. He will forever be in our hearts. We are still accepting donations. Anything will help and greatly appreciative.

A service will be held at the Oak Street Chapel in Brainerd, Minnesota on Saturday, September 20th with a viewing at 10:00 am and a service at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Michael J. Bohringer passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. He was surrounded by loved ones during his last moments. A cremation and service are to follow, further details to come. We want to thank everyone for all of their kind and thoughtful messages. We are overwhelmed by the outreach, love, and memories shared of our beloved Michael.

It is with a heavy heart that I write to share that Michael is in multi-system organ failure with other complicating factors. Michael has been provided all the comfort and care to support him through his end of life moments due to complications from a long and difficult battle with alcoholism.

Michael was so much more than his struggle - he was a loving father & son, a loyal brother and a dedicated friend. We will forever remember his smile, passion for cooking for others, and his quick witted sarcasm.

In preparing for his end of life, we are asking for prayers, positive thoughts, and financial contributions to help cover funeral costs and other expenses. We appreciate any acts of support or kindness through this difficult time.
