Our family is heartbroken to share the sudden passing of our brother and uncle, Matthew DeCorte.

To know him was to know what it meant to be truly supported. Whether it was a dance recital, a sports game, or a school play, you could always count on seeing him in the crowd. He was our family’s greatest cheerleader, showing up for every accomplishment with his signature kindness and a laugh that you’ll never forget.

While he had a passion for Detroit sports and live rock music, he truly lived for the moments spent with our family. He was a pillar at every family party and event, and we are so incredibly grateful to have spent time together over this past holiday season.

For Matt, the best moments in life weren't just good—they were, as he would say, "epic," and we want to do all we can to celebrate him with the memorial he deserves—a celebration of the caring nature he shared so freely.

All funds raised will go directly toward the funeral home and memorial expenses. We are grateful for any support, whether it is a donation or simply sharing a favorite memory of Matthew.
