Madison Faith Conover, age 23 years old, passed from this life on July 18, 2025, along with her father, Rodney Wayne Conover. They were involved in a fatal plane wreck in Yellowstone National Forest.
Madison was following in her father’s footsteps by becoming a pilot. She and her father shared a dream of being able to fly together at Southwest Airlines before Rodney’s retirement.
Madison was a daredevil and lived life to its fullest. She was a professional skateboarder and still loved to get on her board and ride. She fulfilled her dream of free swimming with sharks off the coast of Florida in 2020. But more than anything, she loved her family, especially her niece and nephew and her longtime girlfriend, Caitlyn Halbeck.
She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Bowman; her sisters, Cheyenne Banegas and Carson Conover; half-sisters, Natasha Wulf and Skylar Boselle; her niece and nephew, Saylor and Austin Banegas; along with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. But most importantly, the love of her life, Caitlyn Halbeck.
Madison’s wish was to be cremated and to have her ashes scattered in the ocean. The immediate family is planning a trip in memory of Madison to honor the young woman that was loved so dearly.
