My name is LaToya, the daughter of Lori Phillips. I have organized this GoFund Me to help raise additional funds to give my mom a proper memorial service in St.Louis to celebrate her 66 years of life.

On May 19, I received the devastating news of my mom’s passing and ever since that day my mind has been racing with thoughts on how I will lay my mom to rest.

As my mother’s only child, from a very small family, I have a huge responsibility ahead of me. Therefore I am asking for donations, whether big or small, to help make this process as smooth as possible.

All money raised will go towards my mom’s celebration of life service and travel expenses for myself and four children as I will be traveling from Atlanta to St.Louis for the memorial.

I never thought I would need to ask for financial support for something like this but I would be remiss to not try my very best to make this a special occasion for my mom.
