Hello everyone, this is Sir Free, and I am seeking help as for the 3rd year The Rainbow Soul Cookout is bringing the community together for great food, drinks, music, on Juneteenth weekend, June 19–21, 2026. Yes, this year's events are planned for the entire weekend! That's great news!

I am seeking help for getting this together as, sadly, my co-producer and Meat Master has passed away. He was more than a grill master. Chris, poured his time, energy, and skills as an organizer and chef, into this event and I know without any doubt that The RSC wouldn’t have even started without his generous contributions and support. I cannot say thank you enough to him and his boys who always had my back to see this event be a success for the last two years.

As a reminder: Hillside management generously provides beer and soda, but the event sponsor is responsible for all other provisions. Many other perms and campers have joined with me with donating their time, skills, and money. They have pledged to do so again. I am truly grateful!

I want to remember Chris, by celebrating life and community while continuing this annual high-end summer cookout (now a full weekend of events) with all the trappings, including food, booze, music, Jorge's collard greens, and Perry's famous banana pudding! I also look forward to the return of DJ Catharsis!

Please help me make this event an overwhelming success with a suggested donation of $10. As always, anything you can give will be greatly appreciated. Any funds received over and above costs will be donated to the Helping Hand Fund.
