Landon, who passed away at just 13 years old after a lifetime of unimaginable challenges, showed incredible strength and resilience. At only four months old, he suffered a traumatic brain injury from shaken baby syndrome, an act that forever changed the course of his life. Despite all of his medical complications, Landon fought with fierce bravery.

To us, Landon was so much more than his challenges—he was a deeply loved son, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, and a light that touched everyone who had the chance to know him or hear his story. He was always happy, giggly, and smiley. He smiled and laughed through painful surgeries, long hospital stays, and the effects of his severe medical conditions. He enjoyed being outside in the summer, music, and Frozen. He thought the funniest thing in the world was the sound of dishes clanking. He even got to share special moments with his great-grandma, who adored him.

My sister dedicated herself wholeheartedly to giving him the best life possible. She is a tenacious, compassionate, and purposeful woman who has worked tirelessly while caring for Landon’s complex medical needs every single day, always putting him first, advocating for him, loving him, and ensuring he was surrounded by care and dignity.

Now, she is facing overwhelming medical expenses, funeral costs, and the emotional weight of this loss.
