In Loving Memory of KJ

KJ (Kelin) was a one of a kind student, athlete, friend, nephew, neighbor and overall person who was taken from us way too soon. This past Friday, KJ was killed in Oakland to the shock of all his loved ones.

If you knew KJ even just a little, you knew how he lit up a room with his energy as soon as he stepped in. You knew how goofy and joyous he was. If you were his teammate you knew how competitive he was. Regardless of how you knew him, his smile made you smile. He inspired his peers on and off the field, and never was short of bringing out the best in others.

KJ was in his second year at Sacramento State, and whether he was in Sacramento on campus or visiting back in the bay, he brought everyone together.

His educators and fellow members of the community want to raise $10,000 for his family for any costs they may need for a proper burial, memorial or other services to honor his life. KJ was and will always be a part of our community, and we take care of our community. Any donation will go a long way in helping and will be forever appreciated.
