First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who respected our family’s wishes during this incredibly difficult time. We needed space to grieve privately before making a public announcement, and your patience, understanding, and respect have meant more to us than words can express.

On December 21, 2025, just four days before Christmas, our world was shattered when our beloved son, Kamani, was tragically taken from us. Kamani who deeply loved by all who knew him as a son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson, and friend. He had a way of bringing people together and making others feel seen and cared for. Though he could seem tough on the outside, he was truly a big teddy bear at heart full of love, warmth, charm, and a light that could brighten any room. He loved his family deeply, and that love will forever live on through us. As we try to navigate this unimaginable loss, many have asked how they can help. This fundraiser is being created in Kamani’s honor and memory. None of this feels real. I still dream of him walking through the door with his beautiful smile. Our hearts are broken, and life will never be the same. We will miss him dearly forever.

A viewing for Kamani will be held on January 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM in Powder Springs, Georgia.
