We’re coming together to celebrate the life of Jesse Ingraham with an Open Mic Potluck BBQ. It doesn’t even feel real saying that.

There won’t be a traditional ceremony, so we’re doing our own. We’ll be providing BBQ and will have a couple of kegs for the sake of nostalgia. We want the gathering to reflect Jesse in every way.

We’ll be hiring a DJ and will have an open mic. We want you to feel free to share anything from memories, singing, a poem, prayer, or testimony. Anything to express your last respects to our friend, our brother. Please bring a food item if you plan to attend, and you can RSVP on Facebook - link will be added here.

We still have uncertainty about who from his family will claim his body so that he can be cremated. We hope to achieve that any day from now.

Proceeds will go to the $2500 cremation fee as needed and the costs of the potluck event.

• We have had a volunteer for purchasing a headstone already.

• If his dad agrees to pay for the cremation, this fundraiser amount will be reduced.

• Another friend volunteered to pay for the cremation otherwise. If she pays, she’ll be refunded from the GFM.

• The event will be announced when the DJ and venue are booked.

• Any potential leftover funds will go to his children.
