With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Jeannie.
Jeannie was the definition of loving and caring. She loved Jesus deeply, and her faith guided the way she lived her life with kindness, generosity, and grace. She loved her family fiercely and made sure every child, and grandchild knew just how cherished they were.
She had a servant’s heart in everything she did. Jeannie loved teaching swim, patiently encouraging and building confidence in every child she worked with. She also worked at a school supporting children with disabilities, pouring her compassion and gentleness into each student. She had a special way of making people feel seen, valued and loved.
She found joy in cooking meals that brought everyone together (especially her famous tacos), crafting with care, and traveling to new places. She especially loved spending time in Costa Rica serving and helping others. Her heart for people extended far beyond her own family, and her impact reached further than she probably ever realized.
Our family is raising funds to help cover the expenses for her celebration of life in our hometown in California, as well as travel costs to allow her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to be there to honor her. It means everything to us to gather together, share stories, pray, laugh, cry, and celebrate the incredible woman she was.
Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated! If you are unable to give, we ask that you please share this page and keep our family in your prayers.
Thank you for helping us honor Jeannie’s beautiful life and the legacy of love, faith, and service she leaves behind.
