Help Us Lay Our Beloved Jayhden to Rest ️
Our family is experiencing a loss that no family is ever prepared for. On Sunday, August 16, 2026, our beloved Jayhden was tragically taken from us at just 18 years old as a result of senseless gun violence.
Jayhden was so much more than what happened to him. He was a son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend who was deeply loved by his family. We watched him grow from a little boy taking his first steps and saying his first words, to playing tee ball and soccer, and ultimately walking across the stage to receive his high school diploma.
He had his entire future ahead of him.
Jayhden was preparing to leave next Monday to begin a new chapter of his life with the United States Army. Our family was so incredibly proud of the young man he had become and excited to see where life would take him. Instead of celebrating his departure and the beginning of his future, we are now faced with the unimaginable task of preparing to lay him to rest.
There are simply no words to describe the heartbreak, anger, confusion, and devastation our family is experiencing. Losing an 18-year-old so suddenly and violently is something we never imagined we would have to endure.
We are asking our family, friends, community, and anyone whose heart is touched by Jayhden’s story to please help us give him the homegoing service he deserves. All donations will go toward funeral, burial, memorial, and other immediate expenses associated with laying Jayhden to rest.
No amount is too small. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please share this fundraiser and keep our family in your prayers during the difficult days ahead.
Jayhden, we love you more than words could ever express. We were blessed to watch you grow, and we were so proud of the young man you became. Your life was just beginning, and although we will never understand why it ended so soon, your memory will forever live in our hearts.
God is still in control. Take your rest, Jaz. Until we see you again. ️
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every prayer, donation, share, phone call, and expression of love shown to our family.
