We are heartbroken to share that our beloved Jamie Carlton lost his courageous battle with cancer on May 12, 2026. Jamie was many things to many people: a devoted dad, a loving grandpa, a loyal brother, a reliable son, and a true friend, uncle to many, and an amazing husband, whom always put his loved one first. His laugh could fill a room, his kindness softened hard days, and his steady presence made life feel safer for everyone who knew him. We are coming together now to honor his life with a celebration where family and friends can share stories, laugh, cry, and remember the countless ways he touched our lives.

Jamie’s family is planning a Celebration of Life to bring together everyone who loved him. The costs for the venue, reception, printed programs, flowers, and other memorial items add up quickly. We are asking for help to cover these expenses so we can give Jamie the warm, joyful remembrance he deserves. Any funds remaining after expenses will be given directly to his daughter, Myia, to support her during this difficult transition and to help with any future needs.

Jamie loved simple things: family barbecues, hunting and fishing, working on his trucks to make them better and better, fixing things for any neighbor. Jamie taught many things in life just being here, he taught us to love the simple things in life, like just sitting around and enjoying family and friends company any chance you can get. He taught us how to show up for one another, how to find humor in the small moments, and how to love without keeping score. Jamie may have been a man of few words, but the words he did say meant so much so everyone around him.
