Three days ago on April 29th, 2026, Ikaros Florentino took his life.

It was extremely sudden, and it has been absolutely devastating to friends and family.

He went by many names, Ikaros, Joseph, Joey, Jasper, and so many others. No matter how he introduced himself, he touched many lives in significant ways, as a son, and a brother, A friend to anyone he met, even if it was just a short time.

Never in my life did I think I would have to ask my community for this kind of help and support. Never did I think of a life without him in it.

To me, he wasn’t just my partner or fiancé, he was my best friend, my closest confidant, and the man I was building a life with.

If you are wanting to support in anyway, this is a great opportunity to help out his family with some of the cost of after life proceedings, such as funds for a celebration of life, funeral home costs,

And other financial burdens that must be resolved.
