We are the Sumers and we created this page for our friends and family to contribute to a surprise American Bison hunting trip for our daughter Hunter’s graduation present.

Hunter’s journey to graduation has been marked by determination, resilience, and incredible strength as she has overcome challenges with epilepsy. Hunter was first diagnosed with epilepsy at eight years old for the last 10 years she has struggled with multiple seizures per month, and being on many different anti-seizure medications. These medication’s are very impactful to her day-to-day life. Doctors describe being on these heavy medications like being in a brain fog. This has caused learning disabilities and made school work very challenging for Hunter.

Through all of these challenges, she has worked very hard to graduate with her class and completing four years of FFA. We are beyond proud of the hard work she has put in to graduate.

One of Hunter’s greatest passions is spending time in the outdoors and going on hunting trips with her father. Hunting is very challenging for Hunter because of her special needs. We have to adapt all of her hunting opportunities to make sure that she can hunt safely.

To celebrate this milestone, we are planning a meaningful and unforgettable surprise American Bison hunt for her. This hunt is specially tailored for her special needs, providing accommodations and making it a once in a lifetime experience. In lieu of traditional gifts, contributions toward this special adventure are deeply appreciated.
