On Saturday, April 18th, 2026, our lives were forever changed. Our sweet, vibrant Harmoni was taken from us far too soon following a tragic accident. At just 17 years old, Harmoni was a junior with a drive like no other—she was working tirelessly and was on track to graduate early this coming October.

To know Harmoni was to love her. She was the best daughter, sister, and friend anyone could ever ask for. She lived her life with a "others first" mentality, always making sure the people around her were cared for and, most importantly, laughing. Whether she was blasting her favorite Kevin Gates tracks or curled up with her two favorite things in the world, her cats BJ and Sox. Harmoni brought a unique, feisty, and loving energy to every room she entered.

A Brave Fight

The night of the accident, Harmoni fought with everything she had. After a heroic effort by the first responders during a difficult rescue at the scene, she was transported to the hospital where the trauma team worked tirelessly to save her. Despite their efforts and Harmoni's own strength, the injuries she sustained were simply too much for her body to overcome. She passed away surrounded by the love of those who cherished her most.

How You Can Support Harmoni’s Family

We want to give Harmoni the farewell that reflects the beautiful person she was. This fundraiser is being managed by a close family friend to ensure every dollar goes toward supporting the family during this impossible time.

Your donations will go toward:

• Funeral Expenses: To honor her memory and give her a peaceful resting place.

• Celebration of Life: Any funds remaining after funeral costs will be used to host a celebration of Harmoni’s life, where we can share the laughter she gave us.

• Giving Back: In Harmoni’s spirit of putting others first, any additional funds will be split between the UNMC PICU and Horizon High School to help other families in their time of need.

At this time, we do not have service dates set in stone, but we will share updates as soon as they are finalized.

• Wear Red: In honor of Harmoni’s vibrant spirit, we ask that you wear red when the time comes to celebrate her.
