Gina Marie Martinez gained her angel wings and was called home to God on March 22nd, 2026. An amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend, she brought life and love into the lives of those around her. Whether it was through her infectious laugh or her beautiful smile, she had the innate ability to light up any room she walked into. She carried a positive attitude into every situation and had faith that it would work out just as it was meant to. Even after receiving a stage 4 cancer diagnosis and being hospitalized for weeks, she still retained her smile and sense of humor. Despite facing her hardest battle, this outlook on life was not something she was willing to compromise on.

We all know that Gina was never one to sit idly by and relax. When everyone was telling her to focus on herself, she was still trying to get work done, keep people updated, and put out fires the way that only Gina could. Whether it was attempting to work from home or help with the work at home, she continued her typical busy, "can-do" attitude.

She fought with everything she had and was surrounded by loved ones at every step of the way. She was so loved and appreciated by every community she was a part of. Every family she had came through to show their support, and it meant the world to her. She will continue to live on through these people and through her two children, Abigail and Bailey.
