My name is Gabrielle Jones, and I am a graduating senior at Woodbridge Senior High School. I am honored to be participating in the Women in Community Action, Inc. Debutante Program during this important season of my life.

My desire to connect across cultures and pursue Environmental Sciences with a minor in Nutrition at Virginia Tech—blending sustainability, health, and service— has been shaped by a life grounded in faith, leadership, and community involvement.

Throughout high school, I have served as a Second Lieutenant Staff Officer (S-5) in the Woodbridge Viking Army JROTC program, where I uphold the “No Slack, No Excuses” standard through discipline, accountability, and service. I am also involved in the JROTC Drill and Recruiting Teams and serve as a student ambassador for Purple Vikings, supporting military-connected students as they transition to a new school.

Beyond leadership, I am involved in the Christian Student Union, NAACP Youth Council, and theatre, and I participate in college and career readiness programs through my church. These experiences have shaped my commitment to serving others with compassion and purpose.

As part of the debutante program, I am required to raise funds to support scholarships, community initiatives, and program expenses. Your support will help me meet this requirement while also contributing to opportunities that uplift and empower young women in our community.
