Family and friends,
I’m really proud to share this.
Many of you know my story as a parent and some of the challenges that came with it. Becoming a parent at a young age wasn’t always easy, but it’s also been one of the greatest blessings of my life. My daughter has always been a light for me, reminding me what’s possible and showing me, even from a distance at times, the power of hard work, growth, and perseverance.
I haven’t always been the best father, and I take full accountability for that. I’ll carry that with me always. But what has never changed is my love for her. That, without question, is my greatest achievement.
Time can pull people apart, but it can also bring things back together in ways you didn’t expect, through faith. That’s one of the reasons I gave her such a beautiful name: Faith. Because it’s something you should never lose.
For those who don’t know her well, she’s always been kind, funny, and full of life. And now, somehow, we’re here already.
Faith is graduating at the top of her class and has been accepted into Washington State University to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian, something she has been passionate about for most of her life.
So why am I sharing this?
Many of you are parents, hope to be, or love someone who is. We all know this stage of life should be about growth, learning, and discovering who you are, not worrying about financial barriers.
If you feel moved, I’m asking not only for your congratulations and encouragement, but also for your support. I’ve created a fund that I’ll be gifting to her at graduation to help her step into this next chapter with a little more ease and confidence.
I know how much this kind of support can mean. It’s more than financial, it’s a message that says, “We believe in you. We’ve got you.”
Thank you all, truly, from the bottom of my heart.
