On February 21, 2026, I lost the love of my life, my husband, Dwayne Arlen Hancock. Dwayne was 73 years old, born in Liberty, TX, and we made our home together in Leander, TX.

Dwayne was truly the kindest man I have ever known. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He loved fishing, taking trips down to the coast, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandsons. Family meant everything to him.

He worked many dedicated years at United Rentals, where he trained and mentored so many people. He took pride in his work and in helping others succeed.

As I try to navigate life without him, I am facing the expected financial burden of funeral and memorial expense plus continuing to be financial responsible for everything else. I am humbly asking for help during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward honoring Dwayne’s life and easing this burden on our family. Those who know me know this isn't easy for me. I am not one to ask for help.
