Celebrating Dennis's Life with Love

My name is Amanda Murphy. My husband’s name is Dennis Murphy. It breaks my heart to say this, but Dennis is no longer here with me. Dennis was a loving father and a devoted husband. His happy place was in the woods, camping, exploring, and just being outdoors. Every person that got to meet Dennis said he left an impression on them with his words of encouragement and knowledge. It didn’t matter the topic. He was always there to listen and add a bit of information to anyone that was willing to take it. His smile would light up a room. When Dennis loved you, he loved you with all his heart, and you knew it. He was a man of very few words, but when he spoke, it made an impact. He had a big heart and loved more and harder than any man I’ve ever known. He loved spending time with his family. Family was the most important thing to him, and nothing else mattered. We were together for 21 years, and he was not only the love of my life, but he was my best friend and my soulmate. We loved each other more than anything in this world. We were each other’s world. This is truly devastating to our family, and he will be missed. He had no life insurance, so we are at a loss. We are asking for any help with expenses for his celebration of life. We will post details about this when it’s all arranged and scheduled so that everyone may have a chance to say their final goodbyes. I was truly blessed to have him in my life; he helped me grow into the woman that I am today. I will forever be grateful for him and everything he has taught me.
