UPDATE

I have decided to no longer allow donations to this gofundme as the funds would not be received in time for payment to the funeral home.

We have been humbled by the outpouring of support from everyone through this process and received many blessings along the way.

Between the funds raised through this platform, the benefit held on January 17 and other donations made directly to the family, we are only about $1500.00 short of our ultimate goal. We will still be accepting donations directly to the family on cashapp to $goldenmom03 or directly to the funeral home, Hayes Funeral Home in Santa Fe, Tx.

Our mother, Denise Armstrong, suddenly and unexpectedly passed from this life due to a medical emergency on January 6, 2026. As we were unprepared for this tragedy, we come to you today, January 8, 2026, on what would have been her 68th birthday, to ask for help covering her medical and end-of-life expenses. As Mom had made the decision last year to become an organ donor and give the gift of life to others, we are currently waiting for that process to be completed before we are able to schedule a Celebration of Life. We will update everyone when we have the plans completed.
