It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Delano Johnson, beloved Founder and Executive Director of Bay Point Community All-N-One, Inc. From his humble beginnings, Delano dedicated his life to serving others. Through his car club, he began helping struggling families in the El Pueblo community in Pittsburg by providing food, clothing, and toys for children in need. His passion for helping others later led him to open a soup kitchen in Bay Point and eventually establish Bay Point Community All-N-One, Inc. What made his service even more remarkable was that, during part of this journey, Delano himself was living out of his car—something many people never knew. Despite his own hardships, he continued to put the needs of the community before his own. His compassion, humility, and unwavering commitment to helping others touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on the Bay Point community. His legacy of service and love for people will continue to inspire all of us. At this time, we would like to celebrate the life of Delano Johnson and honor his years of service that touched countless lives throughout Bay Point and beyond. We come together to celebrate a life that united family, friends, community members, and so many individuals whose lives were positively changed by his compassion and dedication.
