Dave Nezat, known to many as "Papa Puff," passed away suddenly on August 27, 2025. He was a beloved father, son, brother, and to so many others, he was a friend, a bandmate, and a kind soul who shared his gift of music everywhere he went. Dave spent his life behind the drums, playing with groups like Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, as well as many other bands across Louisiana and beyond.
We are raising funds to help with final expenses and to honor his life. Any contribution, big or small, would mean so much to us as we remember Dave's life.
