Good Afternoon, Family and Friends,
It is with both heavy hearts and unshakable faith that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Danita L. Green.
Danita was a woman of unwavering faith who loved the Lord and trusted Him in every season of her life. She walked boldly in her belief, carried herself with grace, and reflected God’s love to everyone she encountered. Her light did not come from this world—it came from the faith that anchored her soul.
Her favorite Scripture was Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
She held tightly to that promise and lived her life believing in God’s greater plan—even when she could not see the full picture. That verse was not just words to her; it was a foundation. It reminded her—and all of us—that God is always working for our good.
As a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister, Danita embodied Christ-like love. She served selflessly, forgave freely, prayed faithfully, and loved unconditionally. Her life was a testimony of strength, loyalty, and deep devotion to both her family and her Savior.
While we grieve her earthly absence, we rejoice in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We find peace in believing she has heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Her spirit lives on in the legacy of faith she instilled in each of us.
During this difficult time, we humbly ask for your prayers and support as we prepare to lay Danita to rest with dignity and honor. Any contribution toward funeral and memorial expenses is sincerely appreciated. Most of all, we ask that you continue to keep our family lifted in prayer.
We stand firm in our faith, trusting God’s promise that we will see her again.
With love, gratitude, and faith,
The Green Family
