Our father, Dale E. Jacobs, passed away this morning, March 19th. And with that, a beacon of many beautiful memories went dark. So many remember his beautiful singing in church choir, just singing along to the radio, or even the many theatrical shows he took part in during his younger years. Any one of us who went against him in trivia were ultimately humbled time and time again with his well of useless information. He'd alway be the one to introduce you to an amazing movie, meaningful music, or just toss in a stupid or dirty joke that'd have you laughing at the most inopportune of times.

After a long series of health complications over many years, his fight finally came to a close. Through this, he didn't have life insurance, and left my brother and I without much in the way to put together what he would have wanted. While he never wanted a somber funeral or people to have to mourn, he simply wanted to be cremated, and for there to be a party for people to celebrate memories, and make new memories to go along with them. His very last party. We would be using these funds to get him cremated, put on a celebration of life, and to facilitate his remains being spread to some of the places he loved.

To any that would like to, or are willing to contribute, you'd be contributing to the one thing that I don't think my father ever truly realized about himself. That he played such a warm and happy part of so many lives. Even through some contentious times, he loved us, and we loved him. Anything is appreciated, and we love each and every one of you.
