Celebrating Colton Durfee’s Life and Free Spirit

We are heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of my son, Colton Durfee. Colton was a free spirit with a gift for music, teaching himself to play and inspiring those around him. His older brother, Jason, always called him a prodigy, and everyone who knew Colton saw his intelligence, kindness, and the warmth he brought to every room. He was not only incredibly handsome and bright, but also had the biggest heart, always ready to help others and make them smile.

Colton was deeply loved by his family, including his brother Bryson in Albuquerque. The bond between Colton and his brothers was unbreakable, and I find comfort in the thought that Colton’s spirit is now reunited with Jason, who passed away four years ago. We are still working out the details for Colton’s celebration of life, but our hope is to honor his memory in a way that reflects his vibrant spirit and the love he shared with so many.
