On behalf of the immediate family of Chisa Tatum, we want to thank you for the overwhelming love, prayers, and kind words you have shared with us during this incredibly difficult time. Chisa’s sudden passing has been life-changing and deeply heartbreaking, and we are doing our best to navigate the many emotions and responsibilities that come with losing someone so dearly loved.

Many of you have reached out asking how you can support our family, particularly with the financial responsibilities of laying Chisa to rest. After thoughtful conversations with her children, we have decided to create this GoFundMe to help cover funeral and memorial expenses.

Chisa was a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and although she most recently resided in Raleigh, North Carolina, it is our family’s wish to bring her home to Milwaukee for a memorial service and a celebration of her life—surrounded by the place and people she loved.
