Rest in Peace brother. If anyone met Chico they were lucky enough to have met a unique man with so many talents and passion. Chico was the type of person that gave of himself with all of his heart. When we were young I was so envious of his talents. It came so easy and flawless. Some of us go through our entire life not knowing our passion. Chico embraced his. He never hid how much he loved. He was amazing at skateboarding, he was such a talented guitar player, but could also play other instruments, he was a artist. He has touched lives on all of these things. His pride that he had in his boards, canvases and even murals was something to see. His precision when you would catch him drawing was beautiful. He would make commission art and detail every character exactly how he saw them. He worked hard at his sobriety, his falls were hard but he continued to fight. He impacted people that are still sober and that meant so much for him. All of these things for one man to be and accomplish is such an honor to say. “I knew that dude”

That being said, chico passed away in a tragic accident. It’s sad to read fb and see all of the speculation. It was an accident and please focus more on the man he was to you than how his life ended.

He will be missed by many. I hope you remember him as fun, funny, talented, genuine and passionate as he was.

We will do a celebration of life for him but to commemorate him will take time to put together something that hits all levels. We will post when we set the date.
