We are raising funds for the Lumpkin family in light of the tragic passing of Chelsea Lumpkin. She graduated in May 2025 and had just completed her first year of teaching at Alford Elementary school. Please keep her loved ones in your prayers.

Graduating Cum Laude with a B.S. in Elementary Education from the Bagwell College of Education, Chelsea has been a force on and off campus.

From serving as SGA Senator and Exec Director of Diversity & Inclusion to leading as an FSL Ambassador, Orientation Leader, and Membership Chair for NSLS—Chelsea truly made every moment at KSU count.

In the Pi Phi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., she’s held it down as both Vice President and Chaplain, keeping us organized and uplifted. Her kindness, humor, and uplifting energy will truly be missed.
