On Friday, December 21, 2018, Channon Wilson-Mabrey, 38, and her unborn child, Jecobi Israel Mabrey, passed away unexpectedly. She leaves behind her loving and hardworking husband Joe of 17 years and their three children Joasis (16), Jamara (9), and Juleon (4).

Channon was a talented baker, a down to earth, humble, and loving mother of three, wife, daughter, and sister. Anyone who knew Channon knew she was a warm soul who had a zest for life.

Channon and Joe were excited to be welcoming their fourth child together and were anticipating having a shower for the baby in January. Channon loved being a wife, and dedicated her life to being a mother. She went above and beyond to ensure her children were taken care of and was actively involved in their schooling and extracurricular activities. She commuted every morning to a school out of town to ensure Joasis had the best education, facilitated parent workshops at Jamara’s elementary school, and began teaching Juleon to read.

We kindly ask loved ones and the community to help us in covering Channon’s memorial expenses as well as supporting Joe who will now be raising their three beautiful children alone. We know this is a tough time especially with the holiday season arriving, therefore, any kind of donation will be appreciated.
