It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Carl H. Bernard. Carl was a one-in-a-million person--a vivacious spirit, an exceptional musician, an open-hearted traveler, an incredible friend, a beloved son and brother, and a doting and committed father. Wherever he went, he built community, made us laugh, and made us fall in love with his music. He was an unforgettable force in our lives, and in the shadow of his death, we will never be the same. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

We are humbly asking for help to cover the costs of the cremation and memorial services in Boston and Los Angeles for Carl, as his tragic passing is a terrible and unexpected disaster in our lives. Any excess money will be donated to his two sons.
