Celebrating Calette’s beautiful life
Calette was called home on June 2, 2021. She leaves behind an amazing support system that loves her more than some people are loved their entire life!
My dear friend, Liz, and her youngest daughter are completely heartbroken as they havigate their new life without their daughter/sister, Calette. The three made the perfect trio. Calette was the best big sister to Trinity. They often cooked and baked together but more than anything, they were ALWAYS laughing and having the best of times.
Calette was a huge part of the Whittier Community. She was a great friend and classmates at Whittier High. She volunteered, many years, at the Boys & Girl’s club of Whittier. She worked, for many years, at Ready Set Grow. She dedicated so much of her life to care and mentor the future generations. Anyone that knew her remembers her big bright smile; always lighting up any room she walked into. Her heart was warm and always welcoming, and her laugh was infectious!
I went to dinner with Liz and Trinity, Friday night and when I heard Liz say, “I didn’t get to plan a baby shower or a wedding for my Caletty, but I’m going to throw her the celebration of life she deserves,” I knew we would want a chance at contributing to the best farewell there ever was.
