Hello my name is Shirley Brown and this is my son’s story. On January 2nd 2026 my son tragically lost his life while crossing the street on 11th and Kalamath. The driver who hit my son did not stop they kept driving and left my baby to die in the middle of the street. When my son was picked up by the ambulance he was not breathing and had no heart beat. The medical team in the ambulance revived him on the way to the hospital and he went straight into surgery. He had internal bleeding in his stomach and had a severe brain trauma. While in surgery the doctors but a brain monitor in to see brain activity there was none. My bubba was braid dead. The doctors informed me that my son was going to pass and I need to say my goodbyes. I called his sisters and some of our family and we sat with him my son passed at 10:14pm. My son Angelo Simpson was a great young man he had goals we were getting him back in school this coming spring. My bubba looked forward to having his own kids one day and getting married. Anyone who knew my son loved him he was the life of the party he would literally Brighten up any room he walked in just with his smile. He was a new uncle and he adored his nephew. He has 3 sisters whom he loved and would do anything for lastly he had a mother and step father who loved him so much. This was a tragic loss to us and I have no idea how I’m going to give my bubba the services he deserves anything helps. To know Angelo was to love Angelo. I love you bubba and miss u more than any words can say.
