On March 7, creative musicians and music lovers will gather in Cambridge Massachusetts to honor the life and work of Alex Lemski. Alex founded the Creative Music Series in 2015, and was its artistic director until his death in December of 2025. He was a true friend of the music and the musicians, presenting over a hundred concerts in the Boston area. This event will be part memorial, and part music festival, featuring 7 acts and nearly 30 musicians. Please help us to pay the musicians and support staff a living wage, as Alex would want it.
Our goal is to pay 27 Musicians, one graphic designer, and two audio/video recordists $150 each. This fee is commensurate with how Alex paid musicians in his series, and we believe it’s how he would want things to be done. The Lilypad has generously donated the use of their space, so our total budget is $4500. We expect to make $1250 in ticket sales, so we are asking you to help us raise $3250 to make our goal a success.
Here’s the lineup so far. Get excited about it, and please be generous!
