Adam was genuine, real, witty, and always loved to crack jokes.

We worked together for over 10 years and stayed close up until the end. Just two weeks before he passed, I spoke with him—he was always calling to check in and see how I was doing, never needing anything in return. This was who Smitty was.

Adam was dedicated to his friends and trusted family members, and he had a special way of making everyone feel seen and valued. He loved a good beer on tap, making conversation with the locals, and having a great time wherever he went. His warmth and offbeat sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Sadly, Adam passed away unexpectedly. At this point, due to where he was currently living, we are unsure of his official memorial services with his family. But, here in our community, Adam meant so much to so many people, and we want to ensure he receives the celebration of life he truly deserves. Our goal is to rent a space, provide food and drinks, and bring together all those who cared for Adam to share stories, laughter, and memories in his honor.

I would love for anyone who knew Adam—even just a little bit and has a story to share—to join us to celebrate him. This is about connecting us all together for Smitty and his memory. Adam touched more people’s lives than he ever realized or thought he deserved, and with your support, we can give him the farewell he himself deserves.

All proceeds will go toward the booking, hosting and refreshments at a space in Dover NH where he had his strongest roots. Any excess funds will be provided to his next of kin for any official memorial proceedings.
