Celebrating a Scholar: Makkah's 8th grade Trip-DC

Hello Family and Friends!

We are so proud to announce that Makkah Hashim-Bell is graduating this year from Keller Regional Gifted Center. Please help us celebrate her 8th-grade year by supporting our funding of her 8th-grade trip to Washington D.C. The total cost of the trip for Makkah and chaperone is $3,200 all-inclusive. Any support you offer is greatly appreciated. Just a little background on this charismatic, gifted scholar. She attended McDade Classical school from Kindergarten through 6th grade, earning all A’s and 1 B during her tenure there. She transitioned to Keller for 7th/8th grade where she earned all A’s. On standardized assessments, she continues to demonstrate excellence by performing above standards. Most recently, Makkah was offered a seat at Walter Payton College Prep; the number 1 ranked H.S. in the state of Illinois and 5th in the Nation. Makkah is not only a scholar but has been described by teachers as a dedicated, compassionate and overall exemplary student. In addition to her academic pursuits, Makkah enjoys the arts esp. drawing, dancing and modeling. As parents, we dreamed of what our child would be, but our daughter has turned out to be phenomenal and beyond our imagination. We are grateful for your consideration and contribution to help make this 8th-grade year unforgettable!
