The Original Cowboy: An American Institution

Greetings Folks

The work is about the legacy of Black Cowboy culture From New York to the Deep South, the midwest like Chicago to Oklahoma and California About me "I photograph" and have been doing so for the past 30 years through the U.S. and abroad.

It's important to note that I made it my mission to photograph our culture spread through 15 states and 24 cities

Thus far our work includes Black cowboy fotos and stories of those still present and living the cowboy way.

We have interviews with such legends as Myrtis Dightman, Danell Tipton, who appears on the wheaties box, The Federation Black Cowboys, country legends like Meechie and Brian Jack.

We’re on Black trail rides and rodeos, pig roasts and currently we have a foto of The Crazy Faith Riders of New Jersey hanging on display at Newark Liberty Airport Terminal A at gates 1-6.

We’re excited to announce are pre-orders for the book. the cost to publishing the book runs about 40,000. We estimate the book will run about 85.00 per book (13x11) 196pp.

The good news is we plan to publish the book spring of 2026. Dudley Brooks is my foto editor and Susan Mango Curtis will be designing the covers, writers Art Burton, Danell Tipton and Deron Snyder our my will bring you those good old west stories
