Celebrate Zan Henson with a Tribute Tree

Alexander "Zan" Henson spent his career focused on environmental protection , and in particular defending the forests of California. His love and refuge was his home in Carmel, where he gathered with his friends to relish the natural beauty and recharge among the trees.

In tribute to Zan's life we'd like to gather these dear friends and groups and sponsor a Tribute Tree through the Friends of Carmel's Forest. Together we can celebrate his memory.

CARMEL TREE SPONSORSHIP INCLUDES:

- One Tribute Tree or a grouping of three or more Tribute Trees, depending on the site

- Choice of species: Monterey Pine, Monterey Cypress, California Coastal Oak, Gingko, Elm, Catalina Ironwood or another appropriate coastal tree

- Professional planting on private or city property

- Historical marker with a number, year and a personal dedication (approximately 40 character spaces)

- Monitoring for 5 years

Tree sponsorships are available at the $350, $500, and $1000 levels.
