“I have fought a good fight and I am going home now” - Yvonne Hunter

My mom has been a true warrior, battling over 20 years of illness, including fighting through three different cancers. Despite her own health struggles, she raised five beautiful children with love and determination, ensuring each of us grew into strong, amazing adults.

She worked as a dedicated nurses aid at Kings County Hospital, tirelessly helping others while single-handedly raising our family. Her friendly, caring nature and selflessness were felt by everyone who knew her—she always put others before herself.

Now, as we face this difficult time, we are asking for support to give her the memorial service she deserves and to help our family navigate through this loss. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.
