Hi, I’m Lauren Fitzpatrick, founder of Everybody Fitz Events—a dedicated nonprofit that’s all about building community and supporting mental health through inclusive, engaging events for all ages.

While we’re relatively new on the nonprofit side, we’re proud to be entering our seventh year organizing events for Melrose youth. Everything we do is 100% volunteer-run—and your support helps us keep going!

Our Focus: Youth Events that Make a Difference

This GoFundMe supports our youth-centered events—like dances, game nights, and sensory-sensitive gatherings—that bring kids together, foster new friendships, and give everyone a place to belong.

These events aren’t just fun—they’re powerful. They provide middle schoolers a safe, joyful place to connect, give high schoolers meaningful community service opportunities, and bring parents and volunteers together across generations.

Any leftover snacks from our events are donated locally, such as to the Food Drive—because community care is at the heart of everything we do.

Beyond youth events, Everybody Fitz Events partners with other local organizations to:

Host free workshops and fun learning activities

Promote mental health education and dialogue

Share resources and close support gaps in our community

Create safe, inclusive spaces where people of all backgrounds can connect

Use lived experience to uplift others and encourage open conversations
