Hello!

As we celebrate our wedding with our loved ones, we wanted to take some space to recognize an organization that is very important to us both-- The Trevor Project.

For those who don't know, The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ youth in the US and Mexico. It's estimated that more than 1.8 million LGBTQ+ young people seriously consider suicide each year in the U.S. (which is 4X more than their peers). Since LGBTQ+ youth who live in a community that is accepting of LGBTQ+ people report much lower rates of attempting suicide than those who don't, these youth could absolutely benefit from the 24/7, 365 crisis services that The Trevor Project provides.

By supporting The Trevor Project in honor of our wedding, we can ensure that a trained crisis counselor is only a call, text, or chat away from an LGBTQ+ young person in need of compassion, love, and support.
