Support Trish’s Recovery After a Life-Altering Bicycle Accident

In September, Trish was involved in a devastating bicycle accident that changed her life in an instant. She suffered multiple facial fractures, including breaks to her mandible and maxilla in three places as well as a broken hand. Many of her teeth were damaged or fractured, and over time, several have continued to die because of the trauma.

While her health insurance has covered the critical surgeries needed to stabilize her jaw and facial structure, the extensive dental work she now requires is not covered. Trish is facing at least $30,000 in essential dental procedures, including crowns, root canals, and dental implants. This is not cosmetic care—it’s necessary treatment to restore her ability to eat, speak, and live without constant pain.

The road ahead is still uncertain. Many of her lower teeth were pushed out of alignment during the accident. Some have already failed, and others may deteriorate over time, meaning her treatment plan—and costs—may continue to grow.

In addition to the physical challenges, Trish is coping with nerve damage and the emotional toll of such a traumatic injury. Despite everything, she has shown extraordinary strength, resilience, and grace through every appointment and every difficult day, while also trying to work even more to help cover bills.

With Trish’s 40th birthday approaching, I wanted to create this GoFundMe as a way for the people who love her most—her friends and family—to come together and support her in a truly meaningful way. More than any gift, knowing she’s surrounded by care, encouragement, and community during this milestone would mean everything to her.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help ease at least one part of the burden she’s carrying. Any contribution—no matter the amount—or simply sharing this campaign will help Trish focus on what matters most: healing.
