celebrate Thomas "Woosie" Spann & his family!

On March 7, 2023, at 9:32 pm Thomas “Woosie” Spann transitioned to join our almighty Lord. For Woosie’s fraternity brothers, they would say he joined the Chapter Invisible at the Golden Shore just 48 hours shy of his 33rd anniversary as a member of Kappa Alpha Psi.

Woosie had been battling a tremendous fight against cancer for over five years. After multiple surgeries and numerous hospital stays, his body could take no more. Despite all the hardships that cancer threw at him, Woosie’s spirit never wavered, and he never gave up. Woosie put all of his trust in the Lord. He often said, “God got me on this, and all I can do is trust His plan.”

Woosie’s 18 line brothers of Spring 1990 would like to provide a place for his chapter brothers, his wife’s sorority sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha, his many friends and anyone who wants to contribute to Woosie’s life celebration or to contribute funds to his family can do so here.

No gift is too small and no gift is too big.
