In Memoriam: Timothy L. Taylor
A Life Remembered
It is with deep sorrow we inform you that on the 18th of April 2025 we lost our beloved son, Timothy L. Taylor of Myrtle Beach, SC. Timothy passed away from complications of diabetes and high blood pressure with his mother Cynthia by his side. Timothy was born in Newark, Delaware on December 11th, 1986. He attended school in Delaware until 10th grade and moved to Washington, PA where he attended Washington High School. Timothy worked in the hospitality industry as a supervisor for Hilton Hotels in Myrtle Beach for over 10 years. He was a standout employee who was relied upon to keep operations running smoothly. He will be missed by all who worked with him. Timothy had a loving heart and down-to-earth personality that was special and unique. He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. People of all ages and backgrounds were drawn to him. He loved to travel. No matter where he went, he was recognized by someone. He loved family more than anything. He never missed a family reunion and the excitement he felt as he looked forward to seeing everyone will be missed by all. Timothy loved and adored his daughter Savanah to the moon and would do absolutely anything for her. He had a kindred spirit of love for children and had a special relationship with Calib and Donnie, brothers to Savannah and his godson Dominic. His wish for you would be to live a life of love and joy in every way. His love for you was infinite. Timothy’s friends are too numerous to mention. Just remember “Toolman” as you affectionately called him loved and adored you. You enriched his life in so many ways, and we know how dear he was to you. He wouldn’t want you sad for too long. He would want you to celebrate his life and cherish and remember all the great times you had together. Timmy loved to travel. He loved the peace of the ocean and there wasn’t a sport he didn’t enjoy. He was an avid swimmer. His greatest love of all was family. His mother was his heart, and he was hers. They were connected in a very special way. They loved nothing more than being together and cracking up. He had an unmatched sense of humor and if you were sad, he would know exactly what to say. He lived every day to the fullest and shared love and kindness every step of the way. He was never too busy to lend a helping hand. All who knew him were blessed to share in the exemplary life he lived. Timmy loved his two rescue dogs, Blacky and Oreo. One night late after he got home from work, they were at his door. Ragged and starving, he nursed them back to health and gave them a loving home. Timothy is survived by his mother Cynthia R. Taylor and daughter Savannah, his uncle Robert G. Mack (Dayna) and his aunt, Sonja M. Wilson of Washinton, PA. He was predeceased by his father Timothy E. Taylor. He has many surviving aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews whom he loved and cherished. A celebration of life will be held in Timothy's honor time and location to be determined where friends and family can gather to celebrate and share their memories. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St Jude’s Hospital for Children in Timothy's name. Timothy’s loving spirit will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace Toolman. Your spirit will forever guide and inspire us.
