Hello, my name is Roxie and I’m fundraising for my best friend Melissa and her long time boyfriend Tim Smith.

 

Tim was diagnosed with Covid, pneumonia and influenza the weekend before Christmas 2021. He was admitted to Westmoreland Hospital on 12/23 and fought on a bipap for 2 weeks before a ventilator was needed to keep him alive. Since then we had not seen any real promising improvements in Tim’s condition. Each day posed new risks and challenges for him. Sadly, on the evening of January 17, 2021 Tim was called home to be with God.

 

Tim & Melissa recently bought a new home together that sadly he was never been able to enjoy. They planned to get married this summer and had dreams of growing old together. Their bills and expenses will quickly start to add up. Without his income Melissa is going to struggle tremendously. Please come together with me to help Melissa have one less financial worry to stress about. I would love to be able to give Melissa all the time off work she needs to grieve the loss of Tim and try to adjust to this heartbreaking new normal she now faces.

 

Tim would have given you the shirt off his back and is genuinely loved by everyone in his life. His personality lit up a room and his big smile was contagious. He enjoyed nothing more than a game of golf and having a close relationship with God. He had dedicated 20+ years of his life to OTR trucking with UPS. He has a beautiful 18 year old Daughter named A’sha who is in her first semester of nursing school at Pitt Greensburg.

 

Please pray for Melissa, A’sha, Jaden, Tim’s family and friends who know must grieve the loss of this young man who’s life was cut much too short. Rest In Peace Timothy Smith 1972-2022
