Celebrate the life of Sarah Jane Ideawor
Donation protected
On the 27th February 2022, we lost our beautiful friend Sarah Jane Ideawor.
If you were lucky enough to meet Sarah, you will know the sort of person she was. She was spontaneous, sassy, ambitious and always ready to party. She was infectiously positive, bubbly and outgoing. She was smart, driven, determined and was going to take over the world.
Despite these amazing qualities and being the purest soul you'll ever know; Sarah tragically struggled with mental health issues and eventually lost her own personal battles and took her own life.
In her honour and in the spirit of the person she was, and not the devastating illness that caused this, I am determined to give her the best send off possible. Money from this page will help with any funeral costs, including flowers that she loved so much. It will help throw Sarah the biggest party to celebrate her life and will also be donated to the Samaritans - a charity that supports people with similar issues.
I know this is a difficult time for everyone, but use this as a reminder to look after yourselves, the people you love and those who love us. Check in on your friends. Ask twice if they are ok and let them know it's ok to not be ok. Check in on your own mental health. Drink water. Take a walk in the sunshine. Spend time with people around you and appreciate life the way Sarah did.
Talk openly about your feelings at this awful time but most importantly, let's celebrate the beautiful life of this fucking gorgeous human being, inside and out.
"Run fast for your mother, run fast for your father
Run for your children, for your sisters and brothers"
