Honoring Raul Rosales: A Loving Father’s Legacy

Raul Rosales February 24, 1978 – July 14, 2025

Raul Rosales passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, at the age of 47. Born on February 24, 1978, he was known for being a loving, joyful, and caring father. A charismatic person who always showed up to support friends and family and gave what he could. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his eldest daughter Alondra Natali Rosales, his son Raul Lorenzo Rosales, his daughter Daisy Dayannara Rosales, and the mother of his children Fanny Jovanna Rosales. His elderly parents Jose Santos Rosales Estrada and Alicia Perez de Rosales. His two sisters Maria Rosales and Sonia Rosales.

Raul Rosales’ life was characterized by his siempre alegre (joyful sense of humor) and hard work ethic. He was a man of his word and always showed up for those he loved and gave what he could. Raul was a great friend to everyone and won the hearts of all. He followed his passion for cars, which led him to build his own 1969 Impala Lowrider. As a teenager, he and his now lifelong friends started the Dreamers Car Club. He then took college courses for Auto Mechanics and was employed by Nissan for 18 years. He was a loyal Dodger fan, a Green Bay Packer fan, and a Tijuana Cholos fan, only to provoke his friends who were fans of other rival Mexican soccer teams.

His greatest accomplishment was his family; his dedication to each one of them and his everlasting love for them. He always said he wanted his family to be Unida (united), healthy, and taken care of. He instilled the values of being respectful, always greeting people, being smart with your finances, and saving.

He will be remembered by his sayings of “ya que,” “una broma en serio,” “Oh Yeah,” “always,” “Pookies” (his daughters), and “I want to be like you when I grow up.” He will also be remembered for his passion project: a 1969 Impala Lowrider, which was showcased on the front page of The Lowrider Magazine. He also gave back to his community by showing up for Toy Drives, Autism events for his nephew Gael Amado Aldaco, and community events such as Graffiti Night and other fundraising car shows.

His family will lay him down to rest peacefully alongside other loved ones like he wished.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Raul Rosales—his life, his spirit, and his very essence.
